New Delhi, Dec. 2 -- The Rajya Sabha was adjourned till 2 pm on Tuesday following continued sloganeering by Opposition MPs over the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls, marking another day of disruptions in Parliament during the Winter Session.

The Upper House witnessed sharp exchanges between the new Chairperson, CP Radhakrishnan, and the Leader of the Opposition, Mallikarjun Kharge.

Addressing the Chair, Kharge said, "The purpose of the notice given under Rule 267 should be stated in the House. This has been the tradition.
