New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- The Lower House of the Parliament on Tuesday was adjourned till 2 pm following continuous sloganeering by the Opposition MPs during the Question Hour.
Chairing the Lok Sabha, MP Krishna Prasad Tenneti asked the INDIA bloc MPs not to raise exhibits in the House. Amid continued protests, Tenneti adjourned the House till 2 pm.
The Lok Sabha sitting, which began at 11 am, was earlier adjourned at 11:08 after the INDIA bloc MPs raised slogans targeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Centre.
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju moved the motion that this House do agree with the Fourteenth Report of the Business Advisory Committee, presented to the House on February 2. The motion passed by voice vote.
