Balochistan, Jan. 2 -- Residents dependent on cross-border trade in Balochistan's Turbat district staged a protest on Thursday against the prolonged closure of the Abdoi border crossing, warning that the government's restrictions have pushed local communities toward economic collapse, as reported by The Balochistan Post.

According to The Balochistan Post, the demonstration, led by Border Movement leader Sardar Wali Yalanzai, began at Ghulam Nabi Chowk and concluded at Shaheed Fida Chowk, where protesters raised slogans against what they described as a state-imposed "economic blockade."
