New Delhi, Oct. 26 -- Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) of South East Delhi Hemant Tiwari on Sunday said over 2,000 police personnel have been deployed to ensure safety during Chhath celebrations in the national capital.

Speaking to ANI, Hemant Tiwari said, "This time, a new initiative has been launched to link the cyber awareness campaign with Chhath. All devotees at major Chhath ghats will be made aware of cybercrime... so that everyone can be protected from cyber fraud..."

"This time, the police administration has made thorough arrangements to celebrate Chhath on a large scale. More than 2000 police personnel have been deployed... Surveillance will be conducted through CCTV and drones," he further said.
