Chandigarh, Feb. 15 -- Ahead of the arrival of a second US plane with 119 Indian deportees in Amritsar on Saturday, the Leader of the Opposition (LoP) in the Punjab Assembly, Partap Singh Bajwa lashed out the Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party-led Punjab government on Saturday, for its failures to curb the human trafficking of Punjabis in the last three years.
The senior Congress leader said that the Punjab Prevention of Human Smuggling Act, 2012, regulates the profession of travel agents to check and curb the illegal and fraudulent activities of the persons and travel agents indulged in organised human smuggling in Punjab.
