Thiruvananthapuram, Feb. 14 -- Kerala health minister Veena George on Friday said that the five students arrested for allegedly ragging their juniors have been suspended from Kottayam Nursing College and that the state government will ensure maximum action against them.
As per police, the ragging incidents had begun last November, shortly after classes of the first-year batch commenced.
Health Minister Veena George said, "DME has received a preliminary report from the nursing school, and this (ragging) happened in their hostel. The students belong to the general nursing school.
