New Delhi, Aug. 24 -- Union Ministers Nirmala Sitharaman and Dharmendra Pradhan paid tribute to former Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on his death anniversary in New Delhi on Sunday.

They were joined by Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj.

Union Minister Amit Shah paid tribute to Arun Jaitley on his death anniversary and shared a post on 'X'. Remembering the former Union finance minister, Shah termed him as a "sharp intellect and an effective orator".

Shah said that Jaitley contributed towards strengthening the nation's governance and worked for the welfare of the people.
