Ramanagara, Oct. 26 -- Janata Dal (Secular) leader Nikhil Kumaraswamy on Sunday hit back at Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar, terming his recent remarks against former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy as "a matter of concern," and accused the Congress government of corruption and burdening the middle class through the ongoing property account transfer scheme in Bengaluru.
Addressing a public gathering in Channapatna, Nikhil said, "DCM DK Shivakumar calling Kumaranna (HD Kumaraswamy) an empty trunk is a matter of concern. The people of the state know what Kumaranna did during his tenure. The programs he initiated are still on people's minds. We will talk about his contributions during the elections."
