New Delhi, May 19 -- The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested one more insurgent in the 2024 Manipur case relating to the heinous murder of a woman and burning and looting of houses in a village in Jiribam district of the state, the agency said on Monday.

Rajkumar Maipaksana was arrested from Kerala's Kannur district and has been allowed transit remand by the NIA Special Court, Kochi, for production before the Imphal NIA court.

Hailing from Jiribam district, NIA said, Rajkumar is associated with the proscribed insurgent group People's Revolutionary Party of Kangleipak (PREPAK).
