New Delhi, March 17 -- New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat in Delhi on Monday.

In a post on X, Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal stated, "A tribute to the lasting legacy of Bapu. PM @chrisluxonmp of New Zealand paid homage to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat this morning."

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon has said that New Zealand is lifting its ties with India and called the Indian government "incredibly generous and very welcoming" to New Zealand.
