New Delhi, Feb. 16 -- An eyewitness recalled the events of the February 15 Stampede at the New Delhi railway station that left 18 people dead and many more injured.
Narrating the events, an eyewitness and survivor, Gupteshwar Yadav, told ANI, "...I reached here after 8 pm on Saturday. There was a large gathering here," he said, pointing to a direction with one of his fingers."
"People were slowly moving about. (We got) stuck in the middle. There was no way either to move or go forward. There was no administration here. No one here to look after (to manage the crowd). People were coming from all directions. "
