New Delhi, Feb. 10 -- Amid the widespread condemnation of YouTuber-podcaster Ranveer Allahbadia's offensive remarks on an episode of Samay Raina's show 'India's Got Latent', the National Commission for Women (NCW) has called for immediate action to curb obscene content on social media streaming sites and OTT platforms.

Vijaya Rahatkar, Chairperson of the NCW, penned a letter to Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav, in which she highlighted the need to enforce stringent censorship and content moderation systems.
