Mumbai, March 26 -- Nationalist Congress Party (SCP) leader Eknath Khadse claimed on Wednesday that the five-year-old case of Disha Salian resurfacing now is an "attempt to defame someone,"

Khadse referenced the recent complaint of Satish Salian (father of Disha) which named Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Aaditya Thackeray, former Commissioner of Police Parambir Singh, Officer Sachin Vaze and actor Aditya Pancholi.

"The Disha Salian case is five years old, if after so many years this issue has come up then that means there is an effort to defame someone," Khadse told ANI in Mumbai.
