New Delhi, April 23 -- Indian Navy Chief Admiral Dinesh K Tripathi on Wednesday laid a wreath at the mortal remains of Lieutenant Vinay Narwal at the Indira Gandhi International Airport in Delhi.

Lieutenant Narwal was killed in the Pahalgam terror attack on April 22. His mortal remains will be taken to Karnal, Haryana.

Earlier, the grandfather of Vinay Narwal appealed to the government to take decisive action to eliminate terrorism.

"We request that the government give such people (attackers) strict punishment and end terrorism by any means necessary," said Hawa Singh, Lieutenant Narwal's grandfather, in a heavy voice.
