New Delhi, Feb. 3 -- NDA MPs on Tuesday felicitated Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Parliamentary Party meeting for the trade deal with the United States.

This comes after Trump said that the US and India "have agreed to a trade deal," with Washington reducing the reciprocal tariff from 25 per cent to 18 per cent, "out of friendship and respect" for PM Modi.

BJP National President Nitin Nabin was also formally welcomed at the meeting.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and several other senior leaders attended the meeting.

Later today, both Houses of Parliament are scheduled to continue the discussion on the motion of 'Thanks to the President's address' during the ongoing Budget Session.
