Indore, Aug. 18 -- Madhya Pradesh Minister Kailash Vijayvargiya along with Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargav and officials swept streets on Monday as sanitation workers observed the annual holiday today in the city.

The sanitation workers take their annual holiday every year on the following day of Shri Goga Navami festival which was held on Sunday this year.

"The residents of Indore contribute in public participation throughout the year, they accumulate their house garbage, keep it in separate dustbins and then put it in the garbage vehicle early in the morning.
