Bhopal, Nov. 27 -- Madhya Pradesh Leader of Opposition (LoP) Umang Singhar slammed the state government on Thursday over the delay in the arrest of the accused in rape of six-year-old girl in Raisen district, calling it shameful for the state.

Speaking to reporters, the Congress leader further said that the state government appeared to be only holding meetings while the accused still remains absconding.
