Bhopal, March 11 -- A Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA from Dewas assembly constituency, Gayatri Raje Puar raised the issue of police action of parading youths with shaved heads in Dewas district after ruckus during celebrating Indian Cricket team's victory in Champions trophy, in the state assembly on Tuesday.
The BJP MLA also said that she spoke to the Superintendent of Police (SP, Dewas) and demanded an inquiry into the matter, noting that the youth taken into custody did not belong to any criminal background.
Speaking to ANI, MLA Puar said, "I have raised the issue in the house and also talked to the SP about the matter as everyone was celebrating the victory. The youths who have been booked do not belong to any criminal background....
