Indore, Sept. 20 -- Two people were arrested for allegedly sexually exploiting a 17-year-old girl, in Madhya Pradesh's Indore district, the police said on Saturday.

The matter came to light after the a baby born to the victim was found abandoned in an industrial area under the jurisdiction of Banganga police station in the district, which led to a probe and revealed the incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP, Zone 3) Rajesh Vyas told ANI, "We received information via phone on September 15 that a newborn baby was found near Shivkanth Nagar, an industrial area under Banganga police station limits.
