New Delhi, June 17 -- Hardeep Singh Puri, Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas, on Tuesday held a meeting with the officials of the Ministry and Chief Managing Directors (CMDs) of India's energy sector Public Sector Units (PSUs) to discuss policy of portability from one OMC to another for the consumers.

In a social media post on X, the Union Minister shared that the number of LPG connections in the country has risen to over 33 crore from 14 crore in 2014, pushing overall coverage from 62 per cent before 2016 to over 100 per cent now.
