Chennai, Jan. 29 -- As the brutal murder of a migrant worker from Bihar and the death of his two-year-old son sent shockwaves across Chennai, the murder case has taken a grim turn.

The victim, identified as Gaurav Kumar (24), was found dead with cut injuries on his head and face after residents noticed blood oozing from a sack near a popular two-wheeler showroom on Monday morning. His body was found stuffed inside a gunny bag in Indira Nagar, Adya.

Police investigations revealed that Gaurav had recently arrived in Chennai with his wife, Munita Kumari, and their child in search of employment. He was later working as a security guard at a polytechnic college in Tharamani.
