New Delhi, Feb. 19 -- Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said that it was a matter of pride that Rekha Gupta has been elected as Delhi Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Legislative Party leader.

"This is a fortunate thing for us (matter of great pride)...Ladli Behna is going to be the CM of Delhi...", Shinde told reporters while responding to a query.

The Ladki Bahin Yojana is a scheme run by the Maharashtra government to provide financial aid to women in the state.
