New Delhi, Feb. 26 -- : Maruti Suzuki India Limited and Delhi Police on Tuesday jointly launched a red light and speed violation detection system to strengthen enforcement of traffic regulations.
The initiative aims to provide safe driving experience to motorists, help pedestrians in crossing the road safely and improve compliance with road traffic rules, thereby reducing accidents and fatalities at junctions.
The initiative was launched by Delhi's Lt Governor Delhi Anil Baijal along with Delhi Police Commissioner Amulya Patnaik, Maruti Suzuki's Chairman R C Bhargava, and Managing Director and CEO Kenichi Ayukawa.
