Kolkata, April 24 -- West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee graced the centenary celebration of East Bengal Club with a heartfelt tribute to Mohun Bagan Super Giant (MBSG) and Mohammedan Sporting Club (MSC).
Banerjee acknowledged the recent success of East Bengal's rival clubs, Mohun Bagan and Mohammedan Sporting.
Speaking about the competitive landscape of Indian football, she said, "Mohun Bagan has roped in so many good players that they have beaten everyone and become ISL champions. Goa and Kerala also play good football, but Mohun Bagan have beaten everyone."
