New Delhi, Aug. 14 -- Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge on Thursday welcomed the decision of the Supreme Court directing the Election Commission to publish on the district electoral officer's website the list of approximately 65 lakh persons excluded or deleted from the Bihar draft electoral voters list, along with the reason for their deletion - death, migration or duplication.

"The campaign of millions of aware citizens, the Congress Party, and Rahul Gandhi has achieved its first success through the intervention of the Supreme Court. The argument of the ECI that Aadhaar is not valid for voting has now been invalidated by the Supreme Court for those 65 lakh people in the SIR case," Kharge posted on X.
