Latur, Jan. 6 -- Maharashtra Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Ravindra Chavan expressed confidence in the party's prospects in the upcoming Municipal Corporation elections in Maharashtra, citing strong enthusiasm among party workers in Latur.
Addressing an election rally on Monday, Chavan said the energy and commitment of BJP supporters indicated the party's likely success in the region, adding that the political influence and legacy associated with former Maharashtra Chief Minister Vilasrao Deshmukh would no longer hold sway in the city.
