Bhopal, June 29 -- Madhya Pradesh BJP president VD Sharma on Sunday lauded the "historic work" done by Suma Uike from the State's Balaghat district who has found mention in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Mann ki Baat' programme.

The MP BJP president stated she has done "historic work" in the cultivation of mushrooms and animal husbandry.

During the 'Mann ki Baat', PM Modi also highlighted the "global recognition" of yoga and the 50th anniversary of the Emergency, the chief minister said..

"Today, I got the opportunity to listen to PM Modi's Mann Ki Baat program...In today's program, PM Modi highlighted the global recognition of Yoga and the completion of 50 years of the Emergency...He also mentioned a woman from the Balaghat district ...
