Bhopal, April 13 -- Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Sunday said the State has great potential in milk production and plans to increase its current 9 per cent milk production rate by at least 20 per cent.

He also announced that the State government will implement the Kamdhenu Gau Palan Yojana on Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar's birth anniversary to promote the use of cow-based products and rural development through cow rearing.

Addressing the State Level Cooperative Conference in Bhopal, Yadav said, "I come from a family whose main income is milk production.
