New Delhi, March 4 -- The Select Committee of the Lok Sabha, under the chairmanship of Bharatiya Janata Party MP Baijayant Panda, will examine the Income-Tax Bill 2025 on March 6 and 7.

On March 6, the select committee will summon the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and Ernst and Young (E&Y). The committee will record oral evidence of representatives of ICAI and EY.

On March 7, the views of industry bodies Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) will be heard on the new bill.
