Lucknow, Dec. 24 -- King George's Medical University (KGMU) spokesperson KK Singh has said that strict action has been taken against the doctor accused in a case involving serious allegations, including misconduct and an alleged forced religious conversion, with authorities initiating both administrative and police action.
The incident took place on December 17, when a first-year resident doctor from King George's Medical University was harassed by a fellow doctor, which later triggered her to attempt suicide. On the chief minister's portal, an MD pathology student accused a fellow resident doctor of allegedly insisting on religious conversion as a condition for marriage.
