Thiruvananthapuram, Sept. 13 -- As the Election Commission of India prepares for a Bihar-like Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of the voter list across the country, Kerala Chief Election Officer (CEO) Rathan U Kelkar said that a meeting is scheduled with the state political parties on September 20.

The Kerala CEO told ANI on Friday that they will hold a meeting with political parties to brief them regarding the SIR exercise.

"So we have taken all the steps to ensure that we are ready, and we are looking forward to the schedule. And as part of this, we are also having a meeting with the political parties on the 20th of this month, where we will explain the steps and processes involved," he said.
