Hubballi, Jan. 10 -- Karnataka Home Minister G Parameshwara has said the state government is considering handing over the investigation into the Hubballi incident to the Criminal Investigation Department (CID) to ensure a thorough and impartial probe.

Speaking to reporters on Saturday, Parameshwara said he is in discussions with Chief Minister Siddaramaiah about transferring the case to the CID for further inquiry. "I am discussing with the CM to hand over the case to CID for further inquiry; let the truth come out..." We know what to do to bring out the truth," he said.
