Mangaluru, Jan. 11 -- The Karnataka government has unveiled a comprehensive plan to boost tourism across coastal Karnataka, with a focus on the districts of Dakshina Kannada, Udupi and Uttara Kannada, Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar said.
Speaking to reporters in Mangaluru on Saturday, Shivakumar said the state government will appoint a Special Nodal Officer to ensure effective execution of tourism-related projects in the region.
"To ensure the successful execution of this initiative, the government will appoint a Special Nodal Officer dedicated to overseeing and accelerating tourism projects in the region," he said.
