Mysuru, July 19 -- Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday laid the foundation for major projects worth Rs.408.95 crore being undertaken by Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited (CESC) and KPTCL in Mysuru district.
At his government's two-year achievement event held at Maharaja's College Grounds in Mysuru, CM Siddaramaiah, in the presence of Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar and Energy Minister KJ George, flagged off four major CESC projects.
A key part of the initiative involves replacing 11 kV overhead power lines with underground cables and low-tension (LT) overhead lines with aerial bunch cables across four assembly constituencies in Mysuru city.
