Ranchi (Jharkhand), Jan. 22 -- : Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren on Wednesday ordered for Special Investigation Team (SIT) probe into the killing of seven people who were allegedly murdered in Burugulikera village of Chaibasa for staging a protest against the Pathalgadi movement here.
The order came after the Chief Minister held a high-level meeting with Director General of Police (DGP), and other top officers.
Before conducting the meeting Soren said: "The government does not give the right to anyone to take law in their hands. Lots of rumours are being spread but the government will take strict and unbiased action."
Police have recovered the bodies of all the seven people who had gone missing since Sunday.
