New Delhi, May 9 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar held a telephonic conversation with UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy on Friday with discussions between the two leaders centred around countering terrorism.
In a post shared on X, Jaishankar stated, "Had a phone call with UK Foreign Secretary @DavidLammy this afternoon. Our discussions centered around countering terrorism, for which there must be zero-tolerance."
The talks between the two leaders come amid escalating tensions between India and Pakistan following the terrorist attack in Jammu and Kashmir's Pahalgam on April 22, which claimed the lives of 26 people and injured several others.
