Jammu, Feb. 7 -- The Jammu and Kashmir unit of the Congress party staged a protest against the "objectionable treatment" of Indians who illegally migrated to the United States and were deported on a US military aircraft.

The party called it an "insult to the nation" and demanded that the Union government seek an apology from the US.

JK's Congress President Ravinder Sharma, while attending the protest told ANI, "We are protesting against the objectionable treatment meted out to illegal Indian immigrants by the US. They treated them like terrorists. It is tantamount to insulting the nation."
