Srinagar, March 11 -- Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah on Tuesday announced a committee for the regularization of the daily wagers.

The committee will be headed by the Chief Secretary of the Jammu and Kashmir government and will submit its report after six months.

Speaking in the legislative assembly, CM Abdullah said, "I also wanted to know why this situation has arisen in daily wagers issue, we could not do that's why we lost in 2014. We had worked of their regularization at that time but could not do. I have taken out all the budget speeches; you have promised regularisation in your budget speeches. Then you made a committee.
