Srinagar, Feb. 10 -- Jammu and Kashmir MLA and brother of Rashid Engineer, Khursheed Ahmad Sheikh on Monday expressed his happiness after the Baramulla MP got custody parole for two days for attending the ongoing Parliament budget session.

The J-K MLA said that his brother was on a hunger strike for the last 11 days, but today the strike had ended after being granted custody parole.

"It's a matter of happiness for us. For the last 11 days, he was on a hunger strike. I am celebrating this moment as he is ending his hunger strike." He further expressed that the people of Baramulla will be represented now, adding "Also, the voices of 18 lakh people to whom he represents, now their voices will be heard in the parliament..."
