Amravati, Jan. 5 -- All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) national president Asaduddin Owaisi on has criticised the Yogi Adityanath government in Uttar Pradesh, during a press conference held in Amravati.

He referred to recent reports that claimed people's identities were being determined through mobile phones. Owaisi said that the UP government should be "congratulated" for the new "invention" to determine whether a person is Bangladeshi by placing a mobile phone on their back.

Owaisi sarcastically said that even leading scientists and ISRO would be surprised by this "technology."
