Tel Aviv, May 19 -- According to unconfirmed Palestinian media reports, Israeli forces in Khan Yunis early Monday morning killed a senior Palestinian terror operative commander in the Popular Resistance Committees (PRC), the Press Service of Israel (TPS-IL) reported.

Media outlets in Gaza reported that Israeli special forces entered Khan Younis and killed Ahmad Sarhan, in an operation in the southern Gaza Strip.

According to TPS, his body was reportedly brought to one of the Gaza hospitals.

The PRC is a coalition of small Palestinian terror groups opposed to the Palestinian Authority who are fighting alongside Hamas, TPS observed in its report.
