Lucknow, June 22 -- Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav has expressed concern over India's stand on the Iran-Israel conflict and termed the BJP-led central government's foreign policy "confusing".

"...Our foreign policy is confusing... The world looks at who you stand with in bad times. If you are not standing with your friend, who once did a favour for you, it is a big betrayal of the foreign policy...," Yadav said at a press conference in Lucknow.

His reaction came after US President Donald Trump announced that America carried out "massive precision" strikes on Iran and warned of further retaliation if peace was not achieved.
