New Delhi, Feb. 1 -- As the Union Budget 2026 approaches, industry leaders are optimistic about the government's fiscal policy and its potential to drive economic growth. Ajit Mangrulkar, Director General of the IMC Chamber of Commerce and Industry, believes the budget is likely to be growth-oriented, with a focus on infrastructure, technology, and digital initiatives.
While speaking to ANI, Mangrulkar said, "The expectations from the budget are very positive. It is likely to be a growth-oriented budget. We are on track for 7% GDP growth, and the fiscal deficit is under control. However, I believe the government could allocate more funding. Overall, the budget will focus on what is best for India."
