Winnipeg, Aug. 22 -- The India Under-18 women's recurve team bagged the bronze medal at the World Archery Youth Championships 2025 in Winnipeg, Canada, on Thursday, as per Olympics.com.
The Indian trio of Gatha Anandrao Khadake, Jiana Kumar and Sharvari Somnath Shende delivered a dominant performance to defeat the USA 6-0 in the bronze medal match.
Seeded fourth, the Indian team received a bye in the opening round before registering a comprehensive 6-0 win over Mexico in the second round. In the quarter-finals, they edged past Japan 5-3, but fell short against the Republic of Korea in the semi-finals, losing 6-2.
