Amman, April 30 -- India topped the Asian U-15 Boxing Championships medal tally with 25 medals, 11 golds, powered by a stellar showing in the girls' category.

The young Indian women secured 10 golds and four bronze medals across the 15 weight appearances, winning every title bout they contested in the finals on Tuesday, cementing their supremacy at the event.

The girls' U-15 bouts started with Komal (30-33 kg) narrowly edging Kazakhstan's Aiaru Onggarbek with a 3:2 split decision. Khushi Ahlawat (35 kg) then beat her opponent with a 4:1 win, while Tamanna (37 kg) sealed hers with a second-round RSC, as per a press release from the Boxing Federation of India (BFI).
