New Delhi, April 24 -- The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) announced on Thursday that the Long Term Visas (LTVs) already issued to Hindu Pakistani nationals remain valid.

In a press release, MEA stated, "Reference Government of India's decision (24 April 2025) to suspend visa services to Pakistani nationals. It is hereby clarified that the revocation of visas specified in the above decision does not apply to the Long Term Visas (LTVs) already issued to Hindu Pakistani nationals, which remain valid."

After the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam on Tuesday that claimed 26 lives, India has decided to suspend visa services for Pakistani nationals, effective immediately.
