Mumbai, May 1 -- Driven by the booming media sector, digital innovation, and expanding consumer base, India is set to emerge among the top five global entertainment destinations by 2030.

During the World Audio Visual and Entertainment Summit (WAVES) 2025 being organised in Mumbai at the Jio World Convention Centre, India's will release a white paper, commissioned by Information & Broadcasting Ministry.

Union Minister of State for Information & Broadcasting and Parliamentary Affairs, L Murugan is set to unveil "India's Live Events Economy: A Strategic Growth Imperative" on May 3.
