New Delhi, Nov. 8 -- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Army Purchase Organisation (APO), Directorate General of Supply and Transport (DGST), Indian Army, Ministry of Defence (MoD), to enable real-time verification of Unique Document Identification Numbers (UDINs) through an Application Programming Interface (API).

The integration will be embedded within the vendor registration process of the APO, marking a major step toward enhancing transparency, authenticity, and efficiency in procurement and verification processes within the Indian Army's administrative framework.
