Dhaka, Feb. 7 -- Bangaldesh should seek UN support for reforms, justice and the country's interim government led by Nobel Peace Prize laureate Muhammad Yunus should support a United Nations-backed mechanism that can help secure a democratic future for the country instead of succumbing to a cycle of violence and revenge, according to a statement by the the Human Rights Watch.
The rights body's statement follows Bangladesh founder Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's residence in Dhaka was vandalised during a live online address of his daughter and deposed prime minister Sheikh Hasina.
