New Delhi, Nov. 24 -- External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar on Monday condoled the death of veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra and stated that his contributions in popularising Indian cinema globally will always be remembered.

In a post on X, Jaishankar wrote, "Saddened at the passing away of veteran Indian actor Dharmendra ji. His timeless performances and contributions in popularising Indian cinema globally will always be remembered."

The 'He Man' of Indian Cinema, who had been unwell for some time, passed away at his Mumbai residence at the age of 89 on Monday.
